  Suddenly, at the Kingston General Hospital, on Sunday, January 22, 2012. Helen Patricia Pennell (nee Lawlor) of Napanee at age 80. Beloved wife of Ernie Pennell and dear mother of Glenn Pennell (Jean) of Napanee; Susan Irish (Wayne) of Verona; and Patti Wolfreys (Mark) of Colebrook. Fondly remembered by 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Sister of Glenn Lawlor (Corolyn) of Camden East; Fern Smyth (late Tom) of Belleville; Jack Lawlor (Rosie) of Kingston; Leo Lawlor (Betty) of Arnprior; Linda Lee (Bill) of Kingston and the late Lyle Lawlor (Marion). Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Hazel Lawlor. The family will receive friends at the HANNAH FUNERAL HOME in Napanee (Wannamaker-Tierney Chapel) 123 Dundas Street West (613-354-3341) on Tuesday, January 24 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service in the Chapel on Wednesday, January 25 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow with spring interment at St. Luke’s Cemetery, Camden East. Memorial donations made to the Lennox and Addington County Hospital Foundation or the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
