Passed away at the Lennox and Addington County Hospital in Napanee on Saturday, November 8, 2019 in his 83rd year.  His wife and family had faithfully been with him, with Joanne his oldest daughter staying with him until he was called home. He was the son of Harold and Reta Armstrong and was married to his wife Vaida (Woodland) for 62 years. They were blessed with three children; Joanne McCormick (Michael); Ralph Armstrong (Susan) and Janice Hogeboom (Steve). He was very fond of his grandchildren Donald Armstrong (Victoria); Scott Gibson; Kevin Armstrong (Sarah); Ben Hogeboom (Stephanie); Barry Hogeboom (Katie) and Haley Burke; and his great-grandchildren Hannah, Hunter and Emma Armstrong. Thanks to Ralph and Susan, he lived with his wife in the home they came to from their honeymoon, which made him very happy.
