Barbara O'Neill

Peacefully, at the Lennox and Addington County Hospital in Napanee on Thursday, February 3, 2022. Barbara Teresa O’Neill (Whalen) of Erinsville at age 91. Beloved wife of the late Joe O’Neill and Dear mother of Joe (Bonnie) and Terry (Sandra) and the late Darlene Keech (Scott). Grandmother of Stephanie McConnell (Eric), Courtney Veldhuizen (Eric) and Bronwyn O’Neill (Greg Hammell); Kaitlyn Keech and Brady Keech (Nikki Cummins) and Patrick O’Neill (Brittany), Shannon O’Neill (Sean O'Connor) and Meghan O’Neill (Ryan Casselman). Great grandmother of Ryker and Asher Veldhuizen and Levi McConnell. Sister of the late Kevin Whalen (Geraldine of Tweed) and survived by her special sister-in-law Aileen O’Neill (late James). Barb will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Hannah Funeral Home, in Tamworth on Sunday, February 6 from 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. All guests wishing to attend the visitation must call 613-379-2997 for an appointment in advance, please wear an appropriate face mask and maintain social distancing at all times. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, February 7 at the Church of the Assumption in Erinsville at 11:00 a.m. Capacity at the church is 135, if that is reached and you cannot enter due to numbers, you can listen to the mass by FM radio (within the parking lot of the church) at 89.3 FM. The mass will be live streamed on the church Face book page at www.facebook.com/stephane.pouliot.581 and therefore can be viewed on your personal device anywhere.  Interment follows at Assumption Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Lennox and Addington County Hospital Foundation or the Assumption Church Building Fund would be appreciated.
