Obituary

Peacefully, at home with family by his side, on Saturday, February 5, 2022. Robert Anthony Cassidy of Kemptville at age 83. Much loved husband and best friend of Lita Cassidy (nee Coughlin) and extraordinary father of the late Cindy; Nick; Tina (Dave); Victoria (Andrew); Darren (Fiona) and Brennan (Andrea). Grandfather of Owen, Keely and Bradie; Josh, Ben, Zach, Jacob, Joseph, Mary, Hannah, Caleb, Rachael and Rebekah; Bohden, Kaedhan, Cambren; Ava and Lilah;  Riordan and Rory. Also blessed with 4 great-grandsons Gus, Ellis, Sunny and Henrik. Brother of Judy Chatten (Wayne) and the late Raymond (Gerri) , Don, Bill (Rita), and Bert. Brother-in-law of June Lyman (late Bob) and Marlene Dewey (late Gene). Bob also dearly loved his Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews, extended family, friends, former co-workers and hockey team members, all too numerous to name. The family will receive friends at the Hannah Funeral Home in Tamworth on Friday, February 11 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Please call 613-379-2997 to register your attendance for the specified time. Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of the Assumption in Erinsville on Saturday, February 12 at 11:00 a.m. The mass will be live streamed on the church Face book page at www.facebook.com/stephane.pouliot.581 and therefore can be viewed on your personal device anywhere.  Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Kemptville. Memorial donations made to Mercy Ships or Holy Cross Church Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
