Brian Brophy

Brian passed away peacefully, at Perth Hospital on Tuesday, August 22nd 2023 with family by his side. Beloved husband of Judith “Judy” (nee Bradshaw). Father of Kerry and Carol Ann. Brother of Gwenda in Victoria and Jayne in Pembroke. Will also be missed by Judy's children, Susan, Steven, Allan and Nancy, grandchildren Brittany and Brendan and by brother-in-law of Garry Bradshaw (Arlene), sister-in-law Mary Lynn Gillan (Ron), several nieces and nephews and many friends. Predeceased by his parents, Joe Brophy and Ida Sylvestre, by his brother Patrick and by his sister Barbara. Brian enjoyed singing with the Men of the Clyde and in the Lanark United Church Choir. So let us now sing Brian home. The family will receive friends at the Hannah Funeral Home, in Tamworth on Thursday, August 31 from 10:00 a.m., with Service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment Tamworth Cemetery Columbarium, followed by Reception in the funeral home. Memorial donations made to the Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
