Christine Magold

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother Christine Magold of Napanee at age 86. Born in London, England on December 25, 1936. Predeceased by her husband George Magold. Loving mother of Ann VanKoughnet (Ralph) of Napanee; Deb Magold of Victoria BC, Tina Rondeau (Chris) of Alberta and Wendy Ellen Magold of Vancouver BC. Grandmother of Alicia, Melissa, Erin, Adam, Sarah, Emily,  Hannah and Scott and great-grandmother to Dylan, Nathan and Grace; Connor, Tyson, Jase, and Amelia; Jackson, Luke, Kirksen, Illiana and Haelyn. Sister of Barbara Froude (Harold) of Scarborough and the late Arthur Vogel and Joan Nelson. Christine was a volunteer at the Napanee Library delivering books and for the S.O.S, she was also a long time supporter of the Terry Fox Run and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 137 and retired employee of the County of Lennox and Addington.  A Celebration of Christine’s Life will take place at the Hannah Funeral Home, in Napanee on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 11 a.m. Interment at Riverside Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Lennox and Addington County Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
