Eugene Kelly

Passed away, peacefully at the Lennox and Addington County Hospital in Napanee on Monday, July 24, 2023, after an ongoing battle with cancer. Thomas Eugene Kelly of Enterprise at age 89. Predeceased by his wife Bernadette Kelly (Kennelly) in 2003. He leaves behind his best friend and fiddle/dance partner Vivian Mattice. Dear father of Bernard (Lori) and Raymond (Lisa) of Enterprise, Patrick Kelly of Kingston and Michael (Veronica) of Ottawa. Loving grandfather to Ashleigh Kelly (Deirdre Kellerman); Jadea, Ryan and Justin Kelly; Danielle Morgan (Josh), Nadine Kelly (Tyler); Thomas Kelly (Isabella Missel) and Matthew Kelly. Brother of the late Carmel Joyce (late John); late Hubert Kelly (Patsy Forte); late Joe Kelly (late Mary) and the late Frank Kelly (late Marg). He is survived by many nieces and nephews and will also be missed and fondly remembered by extended family and many friends and neighbors. The family will receive friends at the Hannah Funeral Home in Tamworth on Tuesday, August 1 from 3-7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of the Annunciation in Enterprise on Wednesday, August 2 at 1:00 p.m.  Interment at Annunciation Cemetery followed by a reception in the Annunciation Church Hall. Memorial donations in Gene’s memory made to the Annunciation Cemetery or the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
