Gary Holmes

Peacefully, at the Lennox and Addington County Hospital on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. Gary Donald Holmes of Napanee at age 80. Beloved husband of Margaret Holmes (Sutton) and dear father of Bill Holmes (Debbie) of Kemptville; Mark Holmes (Shannon) of Green Bay, Wisconson; and Randy Holmes (Alison) of Napanee. Grandfather to Tyler (Mikala) and Marley (Sawyer); Sammy, Sydney and Grace; and Caden and Alaina Holmes. Brother of June Hatch (Jerry); Joan Chaisson (Late Bernie) and brother-in-law of Jean McCracken (Jerry); Jack Sutton (Pat) and the late Stan Linklater. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Hannah Funeral Home, in Napanee at 123 Dundas Street West on Friday, December 30 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Service in the Chapel on Saturday, December 31 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Lennox and Addington County Hospital Foundation, St. Mary Magdalene Church or ALS Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
