Gertrude "Betty" Ruttan

Passed away peacefully, at home with family by her side, on Sunday, August 27, 2023. Gertrude Elizabeth “Betty” Ruttan of Sandhurst, just 2 days after her 100th birthday. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Ruttan and dear mother of Larry Ruttan (Debby); Brian Ruttan (Jean) and Faye Littlefield (Peter). Grandmother of Emily Hyderman (Neil), Laura Tapp (Kevin), Shawn Ruttan (Shannon), Todd Ruttan (Jamie), Craig Ruttan (Toyia), Evan Wheeler (Vicky), Elliott Wheeler (Nicola), Elden Wheeler, Kyle Littlefield (Kiley) and Blair Littlefield. Greatgrandmother of Meagan Ortelli (Riley) and Jade Wankhruea (Krits), Spencer, Priya and Parker Tapp, Brandon Ruttan (Christina) and Riley, Mitchell and Logan Ruttan, Hailey and Mason Ruttan, Rachel and Olivia Wheeler, Connor, Izic and Brayden Littlefield. Great-great grandmother of Theo Ruttan. Sister of the late Earl, Irene, Luella, Howard, Randall, Raymond, Gerald, Frances and Vera. The family will receive friends at the Hannah Funeral Home, in Napanee on Friday evening, September 1 from 7-9 p.m., and on Saturday morning, September 2 from 9:30 a.m., with Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment at McDowall Cemetery in Sandhurst. Reception follows at the South Fredericksburgh Hall. Memorial donations made to the Conway United Church would be appreciated by the family.
