Mary Catherine Howes

Passed away peacefully, at The John M. Parrott Centre in Napanee on Friday, September 22, 2023. Mary Catherine Howes at age 82. Loving mother to Michael Taylor (Danielle) of St. Thomas; Chris Howes (Jennifer) of Orillia and Beau Howes (Genieve Burley) of Vancouver. Grandmother of Ethan and Katie, Jack and Emma, Rhys and Shyloh. Sister of Daniel (Sharon) and the late Thomas. Mary was a poet, film columnist, performance artist and registered nurse.  She enjoyed the arts, books, music, and the love of family. Born in Kitchener, Mary spent some of her later life living in Prince Edward County, Belleville and eventually in long-term care at The John M. Parrott Centre in Napanee. No formal services are planned, her ashes will be returned to a place closer to her children.
